I am 43 years old and have been teaching for over 20 years. I am passionate about the subject of leadership and have read over 200 leadership books. I take great pride in my leadership skills, but am always growing and want to be better today than I was yesterday. I am able to build relationships with people, motivate and inspire them to reach their potential, and help them work toward excellence. I am comfortable instilling discipline, holding others accountable, and setting high expectations.
However…despite any success I may have achieved, I have not yet faced my ultimate leadership challenge.
I am thrilled to announce that my wife April and I are expecting our first child! Somehow, I can’t help but think that all my leadership training has not prepared me for this moment. I know I have a lot ot learn, but to be responsible for my own child, for an infant who will depend on us for everything, that is a great responsibility. Am I ready? Bring on Baby Buyer!
